Principal's Message

Mr. Brady Harrison

January 12, 2026
As we begin the second half of the school year, it is a natural time to reflect and refocus. The first semester has been filled with learning, progress, and countless moments that showcased the talents of our students and staff. I am proud of the effort, growth, and achievements demonstrated across so many areas. Throughout the first half of the year, I have witnessed not only success in the classroom and on the playing fields, but also the positive impact our students continue to make within the community.
The start of the second semester offers a fresh opportunity for everyone. It is a chance to build on successes, learn from challenges, and recommit to personal and academic goals. Whether students are striving to improve their grades, strengthen habits, or maintain consistency, this is an opportunity to reset and move forward with purpose.
Students, remember that progress is not defined by perfection, but by growth. Small improvements and a positive mindset can make a meaningful difference. While challenges and setbacks may arise, I am confident in your ability to persevere and continue moving toward your goals.
To our seniors, this stretch of the year carries added significance. Although graduation is approaching, there is still important work ahead. Stay engaged, maintain your focus, and continue setting the example for our underclassmen. Your leadership, attitude, and effort matter now more than ever. While many of you may feel ready for the next chapter, I believe you will one day look back and deeply value your time at WMHS. Make the most of every opportunity and enjoy these final months at West Muskingum. As a staff, we are committed to supporting you and sending you forward with pride.
Thank you to our families and staff for your continued support and partnership. Together, we will make the second semester productive, positive, and successful.

Go Tornadoes!
