Principal's Message

At West Muskingum we work hard to create and maintain a culture of excellence, pride and community.  Our goal is to educate Every student Every day, with a challenging, yet supportive environment that not only prepares students academically but for life beyond these walls.  

 

Our dedicated teachers put in countless hours to create classroom environments that not only engage students but also encourage critical thinking skills, collaboration and an understanding that learning does not end on graduation day.  Outside of the classroom, West offers a number of extracurricular opportunities, athletics and clubs which provide our students with leadership opportunities that fosters their growth as future community members.

 

The West Muskingum Community places tremendous value on education and our schools are the beneficiary of the amazing support shown by community members.  West Muskingum is truly an exceptional place, that does not just happen, it takes the cooperation of our students, staff, families, and community in order to maintain that excellence.  Together, with our stakeholders, we work hard to maintain the strong traditions created by past Tornadoes, while working on continuous improvement and embracing innovation.
